Why does this matter? Let’s go through them together!
Custom-Edited Resumes:
When handing in your resume, you wouldn’t want to hand in a poorly written resume or a ‘copy-and-paste’ resume. You want to make sure you stand out, yet follow the standard format an effective resume follows. When you get your resume custom written, you get a resume that's professional, attractive, and effective in getting you the results that you are aiming for. When you work with Resume To Go, you get individualized resumes that work.*
Cover Letters that get the right attention:
Nothing turns recruiters away faster than a cover letter that does the opposite of its intended purpose. When you give in a cover letter you're aiming to give a recruiter a better look at who you are, in ways your resume couldn’t express.
For example, in your cover letter, you can express how you were successful in increasing your previous team's morale, growing a company's sales and what tactics you used, and why you're interested in the job you're applying for in a personal way (many employers like to know why you chose them initially). Cover Letters are a personalized way to let a particular company know why you’re interested in them, and not make them seem like they’re one of many choices you have in your application process (though they might be) or that you don’t have a real interest in working for them. Believe it or not, many recruiters are aware you have more options but are hoping you’re not more interested in others than them, with a well-crafted cover letter, you can show your intentions to be a dedicated team player and convey heightened interest by providing recruiting companies a personalized letter.
In recent studies, it's been found that 97% of companies require a cover letter or make it optional but prefer that applicants present one.** With this level of expectation for cover letters, you want to make sure that you set yourself up for success by being both prepared and ready with a job-winning cover letter.
Keyword Optimization:
When you read the term ‘Keyword Optimization, you might be wondering what keywords will be optimized. And why does that matter for you and your resume?
Keyword Optimization is simply a fancy way to say, that we will be intentionally adding the right words and phrases that will effectively catch employers' attention and get detected by the applicant selection software that many companies use to choose candidates they prefer for a job position. When choosing who to hire and what resumes are sent in by the right candidate, many companies lean on applicant tracking services and software to get through hundreds of resumes, which would normally take a long time and have the software choose the resumes with certain keywords that pertain to the job of choice that they are hiring for. This software is run by A.I. (artificial intelligence) detecting systems that are intentionally looking for keywords and phrases that align with job descriptions to know who’s resume to accept or decline.
The same goes for the traditional application process, where recruiters physically read the resumes sent in, they have protocols where they look for people with skills that are related to the job description. That's where keyword optimization comes in. To give yourself the best possible chance, you want to make sure you have the right words needed to ensure your resume is not overlooked.
Interview P.R.E.P:
With every good resume, when it lands you the job, before your first day at work, you have to go through an interview (or for some), a series of them.
Unlike a resume, the interview was designed to get the authentic version of a person that isn't edited, polished, and put onto paper. When in the room with your future boss or coworker, this is the place where they get a read of who you are as an individual. For those who naturally can speak and have the presence of mind, even in a place where they are being carefully analyzed, this may be a breeze. But for some of us, we have to prepare ourselves and make sure we’re ready for the big day, and not allow our nervousness to get in the way of our amazing skills and personality that deserves to get hired.
With our Interview P.R.E.P, we thought long and hard about the name and how exactly we will define the intensive training we offer to perfectly express how we prepare you for optimal results. We thought about many words that each letter can represent, like P for performance, proficient, R for realistic and rational training, E for extraordinary, exceptional, and effective learning, and the last P for a practical, pragmatic, and personable approach to our interview training. While brainstorming, we realized that while these are all great words for what we do, we want our main focus on what you’ll ultimately get. We strongly believe in making sure you are professionally ready with exceptional preparedness.
When working with us you can be assured you will receive:
- Professional techniques
- Readiness exercises
- Exceptional training
- Preparedness for your interview
We promise to give you our best P.R.E.P. training, created for nailing the interview and landing the job!
We don’t just want to sell it to you but hope you feel confident in working with us.
